I am so excited about this adventure to South-Africa!
I have seen first-hand the devastating conditions in which many South-Africans find themselves.
Our aim for this trip is two-fold:
- To pour out our hearts and lives to those in need;
- At the same time developing a community of women who truly impact the nations. I am convinced that this will not be a mere mission trip, but a truly life-altering experience.
We are joining hands with a local ministry named The Berakah Foundation which looks after orphan children living in an informal settlement. Most of these children are raised by their teenage siblings and are in need of some real mothers in the faith to love and inspire them. Our mission is to impart much needed hope for tomorrow and to show them that God is interested in rebuilding their lives.
We will be visiting the Hatfield Christian Church in Pretoria, South-Africa. Tony and I met the senior leaders Pastors Francois and Ansa Van Niekerk six years ago and have since developed a special relationship and grown to share a kindred spirit.
It is with great excitement that I look forward to sharing this journey with you! I know that God is going to use each of us in a mighty way, expanding our capacity as women who truly transform the world with His love.
